What is a Gallery Wall?

“A Gallery Wall is one of the easiest but most impressive and powerful home decor statements to create!”
General Tips for Gallery Walls
There’s no right or wrong on the topic, as long as the pictures you choose give a cohesive look and you like it.
- Choose pictures around one specific theme such as a color or a topic
- Use a good number of frames for the space you have. 5 for a small wall and 8-16 for a large wall are good limits.
- Vary your pictures in size and in colors to not make it look too uniform, but stick to the theme.
- The largest or most colorful pictures will be your focal points. Use them where you want the eye to go first. Add more pictures that compliment the focal points around them to create a cohesive look.
- Space the frames out so each picture can make it’s statement and “breathe”, but don’t space them too far apart so they don’t look grouped anymore.
- Choose a layout for the group that you like. Layouts can be geometric or a structured chaos.
